Tiffany’s passion for flowers began as a young girl, spending summers on her grandparents’ farm in Valley City, Ohio. Her grandmother, Bernice Ferry, is a very talented watercolor artist and wildflower enthusiast. Tiffany remembers long walks in the woods and hayfields, searching for violets and Queen Anne’s Lace to press and her grandmother painting roses out in the garden. Her grandfather, Bob, was a horticulturalist and science teacher whose garden was his pride and joy. Tiffany remembers spending long days playing amongst the raised beds, eating peas right off the vine, picking hollyhocks to make dolls, and gathering posies of a wide variety of flowers. Gardening and growing run on both sides of her family as her other grandparents, Dale and Beverly Schiedler owned and operated a greenhouse for many years. It’s in her blood!

At Stillmeadow Acre, we grow a wide variety of tender and hardy annuals and perennials to make colorful, seasonal bouquets. Everything is grown sustainably and naturally: no chemical inputs or sprays, low water usage, low-till, and with the health and biodiversity of our precious soil in mind. We encourage pollinators and wild-life to make their homes at our farm. In 2019, we are working with our good friends at Heritage Hills Farm and have installed a bee hive which we plan to expand upon in future years!

Bouquets are available June-October at Local Roots Market and Cafe.  We can also create arrangements for special occasions and events and enjoy making table centerpieces for weddings, showers, and parties; bridal bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres; special bouquets to send a get-well or sympathy message; or just something creative to brighten your own day! Email stillmeadowacre@gmail.com to place a special order or schedule an event.
